Marchhart celebrates 50 year anniversary

|   Metal

When Johann Marchhart founded a small locksmith’s and art forge in 1968 no one would have thought that this family business might evolve into an internationally operating high-tech metal processing company.

50 years later we are thinking in much larger dimensions – we operate dedicated sales offices in Germany and Sweden; distribution partner networks in other European countries, in the middle East and Asia have been expanded in recent years. In addition to manufacturing of metal racks and frames, table supporting frames and metal components for office furnishings as well as laboratory furnishings systems, we also produce specialised shuttering for concrete mould construction such as shuttering for concrete staircases and guide wall elements on motorways – and are amongst the global players in the field of air filtering technology.

Our commit everything to ensuring our products are state of the art – and actually even a bit further. Tailored solutions and premium quality are a matter of course for us. Our customers appreciate that we pay our outmost attention to their needs and requirements to be able to provide them with the best solutions. A smooth transition from design to production, state of the art machinery and equipment paired with well trained staff go together to make this possible.

Today the company is managed by the brothers Johannes, Thomas, Markus and Christoph Marchhart, staff numbers increasing over the last ten years from around 60 to 80. The aim is to operate Marchhart through the transition to the next generation as a flexible company with a comprehensive metal processing product and service portfolio.
